Founder & CEO

Stephen is the founder and CEO of The Luxus Group. He acts as the managing partner for all Luxus Developments’ projects as well as Luxus Vacation Properties. Honored as one of Canada’s Top 40 under 40, Stephen is an active community member and former trustee of the Stollery’s Children Hospital Foundation.

Stephen Petasky

Managing Partner

Jonathan leads Luxus Developments and the New York Office. He oversees all aspects of the development projects. Prior to joining Luxus, Jonathan was a management consultant with Bain & Company. Jonathan received his MBA, with distinction, from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia.

Jonathan Lawrence

Senior Director, Investments

Brandon is responsible for all acquisitions, transaction execution and project management. Prior to joining Luxus, Brandon was an investment banker with Royal Bank of Canada and JPMorgan. Brandon holds an MS in Real Estate Development from Columbia University and a BA in History from SUNY Geneseo.

Brandon Perrotta

Director of Design

Kevin oversees all aspects of design development, project coordination and construction management. Prior to joining Luxus, Kevin was an Assistant Development Manager with New Empire Corp., and a Development Associate with Avery Hall Investments. Kevin received an MS in Real Estate Development from Columbia University and a B Arch. from the Pratt Institute

Kevin Chang

Director of Finance

AJ is responsible for leading the day-to-day accounting function of the company, as well as providing project accounting support. Prior to joining Luxus Developments in 2021, AJ spent seven years as a Controller working in the Oil & Gas sector, and four years working at a Big Four accounting firm. AJ obtained his CPA designation in 2013 and is a graduate of the University of Alberta School of Business.

Director of Development

Michael overseas project management responsibilities at Four Seasons Private Residences Las Vegas. Prior to joining Luxus, Michael was the Vice President of Development for Kuafu Properties. Michael received a MS in Real Estate Development from Columbia University and a BS in Finance and Economics from Drexel University.

Michael Scott

Controller

Vik assists in the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting functions of Luxus Developments. Prior to joining Luxus, Vik was a Senior Manage at Grant Thornton LLP. Vik is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Alberta and is a graduate of the University of Alberta School of Business.

Vik Sarda

Legal Counsel

Sapan serves as Legal Counsel for Luxus. Prior to joining the team, she held the position of Counsel at a leading international law firm. She earned both her Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce, with distinction, from the University of Alberta.

Sapan Mangat

Analyst, Investments

Colin supports acquisitions and transaction execution at Luxus Developments. Prior to joining Luxus, he was a product manager at Microsoft. Colin holds an MS in Real Estate Finance and Investment from New York University and a BA in Computer Science from Boston College.

Colin Lee

Assistant Controller

McKenzie Miller contributes to the company’s core accounting operations while also providing project accounting support on residential developments. She began her career articling with Grant Thornton before advancing into a management position at Civida, where she spent three years in the affordable housing sector. McKenzie earned her CPA designation in 2021 and holds an accounting degree from MacEwan University.
